She holds both her Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in Communication Disorders and<\/p>\n<p>Speech Language Pathology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).<\/p>\n<p>Christina specializes in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, early intervention, and lactation support \u2014 with a special focus on tongue tie, lingual function, and oral motor development. Her unique dual certification allows her to offer a truly integrated approach to infant and child feeding challenges with a focus on comprehensive breastfeeding and bottle feeding support, including evaluation and treatment of latch difficulties, milk supply concerns, oral function and transition to solids.<\/p>\n<p>Christina\u2019s background includes extensive experience across home health, clinic settings, early education programs, and school systems. She has specialized training in feeding assessment\/intervention and a variety of childhood speech and language difficulties with a special interest in early intervention for the birth to 3 year old population. She\u2019s also certified in the Simon Says Tongue Tip Program and the Thumbs Up Program for thumb-sucking elimination, as well as a Gestalt Language Processing trained and NLA certified clinician.<\/p>\n<p>Her approach is family-centered, compassionate, and individualized \u2014 drawing from a broad multidisciplinary toolkit to help each child thrive. Originally from New York, she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. She then completed her Master\u2019s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan\u2019s interest in speech-language pathology began during college while working as a nanny for children who received speech therapy services. Her firsthand experience witnessing the impact of communication support sparked a deep passion for the field and confirmed her calling to work with children.<\/p>\n<p>She has extensive experience in school-based settings and has worked with children ages 4 to 15. Her areas of expertise include the evaluation and treatment of receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological delays, fluency disorders, social\/pragmatic language challenges, and auditory processing differences. Morgan uses evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that support her clients\u2019 communication goals.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan is also trained in pediatric feeding therapy, incorporating family-centered and play-based approaches to support children with feeding difficulties. She values a collaborative approach that empowers both children and their families to achieve success.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Harper. She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Throughout her graduate training, she gained clinical experience across the lifespan, working with toddlers through older adults in outpatient, inpatient, and acute care settings. She completed her clinical fellowship at Holly Springs Feeding &amp; Speech, where she advanced her skills in treating childhood speech and language delays, as well as pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda has a strong interest in pediatric feeding therapy, particularly using sensory-based and integrated approaches such as SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory), food chaining, and family-centered strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Her pediatric experience includes the evaluation and treatment of receptive and expressive language disorders, early intervention, fluency disorders, articulation delays, phonological disorders, apraxia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In adult populations, she is experienced with dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, traumatic brain injury, and neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson\u2019s disease, and dementia.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient\u2019s needs. She values working collaboratively with families to create meaningful, functional outcomes. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from East Carolina University in 2017, followed by his Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from ECU in 2023. He is excited to return to the Triangle area to continue his career at Holly Springs Feeding &amp; Speech.<\/p>\n<p>Jake has clinical experience treating pediatric clients across a variety of settings, including schools, rehabilitation centers, hospital inpatient units, university clinics, and outpatient environments. Throughout his training and career, he has worked with children of all ages, addressing expressive and receptive language delays, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, dysphagia, childhood apraxia of speech, and traumatic brain injuries.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his expertise in speech and language, Jake has training and experience in pediatric feeding therapy. He incorporates sensory-based and play-based approaches into feeding treatment and utilizes strategies such as SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory), food chaining, and responsive feeding techniques to support children with a wide range of feeding challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Jake is passionate about helping each child reach their full potential by using individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. He values play-based, child-led, and family-centered approaches to therapy that foster growth, confidence, and success in daily life.
